July 13: Introductory Dialogue in Jerusalem

Would you like to have a constructive, respectful conversation with fellow Jews whose perspectives on about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are different from yours -- without arguing or debating? Are you interested in talking about your experiences, feelings, ideas, convictions, and questions in an environment that promotes respect and mutual learning?

The Jewish Dialogue Group invites diaspora Jews of all perspectives and backgrounds to a special pilot dialogue program in Jerusalem.

When:
Monday, July 13, 7:30 to 10pm

Where: the home of Chaim Landau, located in Baka

What, Why, and Who: This gathering will give you an opportunity to talk with other Jews who have strong feelings about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including both people who are like-minded and people whose views are very different from your own. The dialogue will be useful to you whether you feel certain about your views or you feel ambivalent or confused.

The Jewish Dialogue Group is based in the United States, but we would like to try offering our resources to Jews in Israel as well. This initial pilot session is designed for people who are spending significant time
in Israel, but who live primarily in North America, Europe, Australia, South Africa, or another location. The dialogue will take place in English.

To Sign Up: Please apply as soon as possible by visiting: http://tinyurl.com/jerusalem-dialogue

Please use the survey to tell us a little about your background and perspective about why you'd like to participate in this dialogue. Space is very limited, but we will do our best to accommodate you. We will get back to you to let you know if we will have room for you this time.
